Mexican sushi might look like made-up term, but we can assure you that likely it's an actual cuisine coming out of La Puente California (with origins within the Sinaloa topic of Mexico). We visit EL SUSHI LOCO in La Puente and Downey, a restaurant considered the leader and originator of Mexican style sushi, to see the different options available all about. From deep-fried crab and shrimp rolls to cream cheese topped chicken tempura rolls, this is definitely not your typical sushi restaurant by any means.
